Laqtia’s exporting work has been recognised as the best Exporting Company of the year in the Business Merit Awards (MEEM), which are awarded by the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha to acknowledge those companies in Castilla-La Mancha that have distinguished themselves within the business sector in a notable and extraordinary way during the year and have contributed to the development of the region’s economic activity.
Laqtia, a company dedicated to the production and distribution of high quality instant drinks for vending, hospitality, hotel and retail distribution, carries out 100% of its production from its factory in La Mata, Toledo, from where it distributes its products to more than 24 countries around the world through an extensive network of distributors in a continuous growth sgtrategy, which has led it to become one of the largest manufacturers of instant drinks in Spain and known and respected brand in the vending sector in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.
The award ceremony was held yesterday in Tomelloso, where the Regional Minister of Economy, Business and Employment, Patricia Franco, thanked the award winners and their teams for “their collective effort, their commitment to tradition without renouncing innovation, their drive for sustainability and energy efficiency, and their ability to adapt to new models and new markets in order to continue growing”.
The award was collected by Alfonso López, CEO of Laqtia, who pointed out that “for a small company like Laqtia it is a great pride to receive an award like this” and thanked the work of Laqtia’s commercial team “this award is above all: yours”.
Michel Rodríguez, Laqtia’s sales representative in France, Ignacio Bazán, export director, Juan Carlos Navarro, Laqvital division director and Alfonso López del Álamo, Laqtia’s CFO, accompanied Alfonso López at the award ceremony.
